JORIG also provides services in the dyeing area. We dye lace, ribbons and other textile accessories.
Dyeing is a chemical process of color modification of the textile fibers through the application of colored materials, through a solution or dispersion, a process that varies greatly from article to article because there are very specific dyes for each type of fiber.
In this process a physical-chemical modification of the substrate occurs so that the reflected light causes a perception of color. The products that cause these modifications are called coloring matters. Coloring materials are organic compounds capable of coloring textile or non-textile substrate, so that the color is relatively solid to light and to humid treatments.
The entire textile substrate undergoes various physical and chemical processes during the process. The real need for these processes is to improve the appearance, dyeing capacity as well as conditions for a subsequent noble finish to the textile accessory.
It is in the dyeing industry that the textile substrate undergoes the entire process of preparation and dyeing.
The textile accessories must be carefully prepared before starting the dyeing. They undergo an initial process called preparation or pretreatment, which aims to remove all impurities from the substrate (tissue), such impurities are: waxes, natural pectins, lubricating oils, paraffins, gums etc. These impurities can be both natural and artificial. In the latter case they are added to the accessories when they undergo the weaving process in the weaving.
Textile accessories come to dyeing raw. They are then subjected to both chemical and physical processes depending on the type of fiber and type of final product to be obtained.
